Remove And Install Exhaust Manifold (Industrial Engine)
1. Remove breather tube (1).2. Remove four bolts (2). Remove manifold shield (3). 3. Remove three bolts (6). Remove nuts (5) from exhaust manifold (4).4. Remove two section manifold (4) and brackets (7). Remove gaskets (10).5. Remove elbow (8), coupling (9) and elbow (11). The following steps are for installation of the exhaust manifold.6. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the bolts that hold elbow (8), coupling (9) and elbow (11). 7. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the bolts that hold elbow (8). Install gasket (12) and assembly (8), (9) and (11).8. Put gaskets (10) in position on the cylinder head.9. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on bolts (6) and the studs for exhaust manifold (4).10. Put manifold (4) into position on the cylinder head. 11. Install the gasket between elbow (11) and manifold (4). Install bolts (6), brackets (7) and nuts (5). Tighten the nuts in number sequence to a torque of 52 7 N m (38 5 lb.ft.). Tighten the nuts again in number sequence to a torque of 52 7 N m (38 3 lb.ft.).
