IMPELLER 4H8984 - Caterpillar

1. Loosen three vee belt tensioning bolts (1). Remove four vee belts (2).2. Remove eight bolts (3). Remove damper (5).3. Remove four bolts (4), the washer and the crankshaft pulley. The following steps are for the installation of the damper and pulley.4. Put the crankshaft pulley in position on the end of the crankshaft, and install the clamp washer and four bolts (4) which hold it.5. Put pulley (5) and the damper in position on the crankshaft pulley, and install eight bolts (3) that hold it.6. Install four vee belts (2). Adjust the tension of the vee belts. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual for the correct adjusting procedure.
