G - Loctite 272 - Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, thoroughly clean all parts in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Do not use wiping cloths or rags to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Dirt and other contaminants can damage the precision component. Perform assembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.Note: Lubricate the internal components with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Secure rod (13). Apply Tooling (C) and then apply Tooling (E) to the threads of rod (13).
Install piston (9) to rod (13). Tighten piston (9) to a torque of 1000 65 N m (740 50 lb ft).
Install seals (14), (15) and (16) on piston (9).

Install seal (10) to cylinder (6).
Lubricate the sealing lip with the lubricant being sealed. Install seal (11). Install the seal with the lip of the seal facing toward the inside of cylinder (6).
Lubricate the sealing lip with the lubricant being sealed. Apply Tooling (F) to seal prior to assembly. Install seal (12). Install the seal with the lip of the seal facing away from cylinder (6).
Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Install piston (9) and rod (13) in cylinder (6). Ensure piston (9) and rod (13) are at the bottom of cylinder (6).
Install springs (7) and (8) in the machined groove in piston (9).
Install O-ring seal (5) to end cover (2).
Position end cover (2) on springs (7) and (8).

Apply Tooling (C) and then apply Tooling (G) to the threads of six bolts (1).
Install six bolts (1). Tighten six bolts (1) evenly to a torque of 105 20 N m (75 15 lb ft).
