Description of Change: The new fluted design allows for a better exhaust gas mixture and removes the need to relocate the NOX sensor 3 feet downstream. Moving the NOX sensor downstream was required with the former catalytic converter group.Adaptable To: The new 445-6900 Catalytic Converter Gp replaces the existing 374-2501 Catalytic Converter Gp. The new converter group is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above.Refer to Table 1 for a list of the parts needed to install the new 445-6900 Catalytic Converter Gp.
