A new seat swivel locking pin needs to be installed to prevent seats from unlatching on certain 416C, 426C, 428C, 436C and 438C Backhoe Loaders. The normal flexing of the seat swivel may cause the locking pin to disengage and allow the seat to swivel. To prevent this unwanted disengagement a new 1345492 Locking Pin needs to be installed.

Install a new 1345492 Locking Pin using the following steps:
1. Remove rear slide stops.2. Slide top seat off of swivel assembly to expose the swivel latching mechanism.3. Remove the latch by removing the E-clip on the pivot pin. 4. Pull the pin toward front of seat to free the latch and spring assembly.5. Install new 1345492 Latch.6. Assemble in reverse order.
