Release the hydraulic system pressure
Remove the hammer from the host machine. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Work Tool Installation and Removal".
Remove the hammer tool from the hammer. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Tool - Remove and Install".

Typical example
Use suitable lifting device to place hydraulic hammer assembly (1) on Tooling (A). The weight of the hammer assembly is approximately 330 kg (728 lb).

Attach suitable lifting device to hammer plate (2). The weight of hammer plate (2) is approximately 70 kg (154 lb).

Remove bolts (3), the washers , and hammer plate (2).Note: The washers used are a two piece locking design. They must be reassembled in the way they were removed to prevent loosening
Repeat step 4 and step 5 to the other side.

Remove hydraulic hammer (4).Installation Procedure
Install hydraulic hammer (4) in the reverse order of the removal.
Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of bolts (3).
