Thoroughly clean the sealant from the mating faces of the parking brake and of the output transfer gear case.
Apply 6V-6640 RTV Silicone Sealant to the mating surfaces of the parking brake and of output transfer gear case.

Install Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) on the parking brake. Use Tooling (A), Tooling (B) and a hoist to lift the parking brake into position. Engage the spline on the shaft of the parking brake with the spline of the output transfer gear case.
Install seventeen bolts (7) in order to secure the parking brake to the output transfer gear case. The torque for the bolts is 270 40 N m (200 30 lb ft).
Remove Tooling (A) and Tooling (B). Tighten bolt (5) to a torque of 270 40 N m (200 30 lb ft).

Install three bolts (3) in the original storage location.

Install a new O-ring seal on the hose assembly. Connect hose assembly (1) to the parking brake.
Start the engine and check for leaks. Note: After the steering frame lock is separated, check for proper operation of the parking brake.
Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
