The problem that is identified in the technical information bulletin that follows does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.Problem
When flashing an ECM on a machine that has Cat® Detect Object Detection installed, the CMPD ECM will remain in flashing mode when another ECM is selected in Winflash. Hence, causing an incompatibility message or the corruption of the file on the ECM to be flashed.Solution

CMPDPrior to flashing an ECM on a machine with Object Detection, disconnect connector (1) on the back of the CMPD. Flash the software onto the desired ECM. Once the flash is completed, install the connector back to the CMPD.
