Information:

This diagnostic code becomes active when all the parameters for the CAN data link for the right medium range object detection sensor are missing for more than 250 milliseconds. This diagnostic code is associated with the wire harnesses that connect to the components for the object detection system. Failure of the internal CAN data link wiring of an object detection component may also cause this diagnostic code. This failure causes the data link communications to be disrupted.System Response:The object detection system is disabled. The system will reactivate when all the parameters on the CAN data link are available. The status indicator for the system will illuminate red.Test Step 1. CYCLE THE POWER TO THE SYSTEM
Place the key start switch and the disconnect switch in the OFF position.
Turn the disconnect switch and the key start switch to the ON position.
Check the status of the diagnostic code MID 134 – CID 3322 – FMI 09.Expected Result:The diagnostic code is not active. Results:
YES - The diagnostic code is not active.Repair: The diagnostic code was caused by the internal wiring for the CAN data link of the display. Cycling the power to the system has reset the display. Return the machine to normal operation.STOP
NO - The diagnostic code is still active. Proceed to Test Step 2.Test Step 2. CHECK POWER TO THE RIGHT MEDIUM RANGE OBJECT DETECTION SENSOR
Disconnect the connector from the right medium range object detection sensor.
Take the following measurement at the harness connector for the right medium range object detection sensor. Measure the voltage between contact 4 wire (C569-YL(Yellow)) and contact 1 wire (C234-BK(Black)).Expected Result:The voltage measurement is 12 3 VDC.Results:
YES - The voltage measurements are 12 3 VDC. Proceed to Test Step 3.
NO - The voltage measurements are NOT 12 3 VDC.Repair: The 12/24 V power converter has failed or the machines charging system is not functioning correctly. Replace the 12/24 V power converter or repair the charging system.STOPTest Step 3. CHECK THE RESISTANCE OF THE CAN DATA LINK
Place the key start switch and the disconnect switch in the OFF position.
Disconnect connector CM-C1 from the back of the display.
Take the following measurement at the CM-C1 connector that is located in the center on the back of the display. Measure the resistance between contact 6 wire (F711-YL(Yellow)) and contact 5 wire (F712-GN(Green)). Note the resistances.Expected Result:The resistance measurement is 60 6 ohms. Results:
YES - The resistance measurement is 60 6 ohms. Proceed to Test Step 5.
NO - The resistance measurement is NOT 60 6 ohms. Proceed to Test Step 4.Test Step 4. CHECK THE TERMINATION RESISTOR
Disconnect the 3-pin connector for both of the termination resistors.
Measure the resistance across contact A and contact B for one resistor. Measure the resistance across contact A and contact B for the other resistor. Note the resistance.Expected Result:The
