Awareness only of added adjustabilityProblem
With the introduction of the new cab for all D-series models in 2013, the ability to adjust the armbar and controls (joysticks) height was added. This information was inadvertently left out of the service manuals. Until such time that we can add the information elsewhere appropriately, this technical communication is being released to resolve dealer confusion.Solution
After determining which style of controls the machine has, adjust the controls accordingly as needed.Cab-Mounted Controls for Mechanical Suspension Seat

Mechanical Suspension Seat
Remove the three locknuts & washers (A).
Raise the controls bracket up to the alternate mounting slots (B).
Adjust fore/aft as desired.
Re-install the washers & locknuts (A).
Torque to 15 3 N m (11 2 lb ft). Seat-Mounted Controls for Air Ride Suspension Seat

Remove the four locknuts & washers (A) from the interior side of the seat bracket.
Remove the two bolts & washers (C) from the exterior side of the seat bracket.
Raise the controls bracket up to the alternate mounting slots (B).
Re-install the bolts & washers (C) and the washers & locknuts (A).
Torque to 15 3 N m (11 2 lb ft).
