PARTS DISPOSITION

Rework Procedure
1. Raise the body and secure body in the upward position using the body retaining pins.
2. Remove one of the 7X-2563 Bolts (1) that holds the 264-0252 Pipe As. (2) to the chassis. If 264-0252 Pipe As. (2) is equipped with slots (not shown) for mounting bolts no further action is required. If 264-0252 Pipe As. (2) is equipped with circular mounting holes as shown (see Image 1.1.1) the 264-0252 Pipe As. (2) must be removed.

3. To remove the 264-0252 Pipe As. (2) from the chassis the 281-2260 Tube As. (3) must either be disassembled by removing the four bolts (4) and washers (5) that attaches the 281-2260 Tube As. (3) to the 264-0252 Pipe As. (2) or the 281-2260 Tube As. (3) must be disassembled by removing the 4N-9330 Clamp (6) that attaches the 281-2260 Tube As. (3) to the 257-8616 Tube (7). See Image 1.2.1.
4. Remove the six 7X-2563 Bolts (1) and 8T-4123 Washers (10) that attaches the 264-0252 Pipe As. (2) to the chassis. See Image 1.1.1.

5. Rework 264-0252 Pipe As. (2) mounting holes in the required direction that allows upward and downward motion of the 2G-9172 Housing (8) when the body is in the down position and 6G-1092 Springs (9) are not fully compressed (see Image 1.3.1). Use the reference dimensions A (A = 40 mm (1- 5/8 in.)) and B (B = 21.5 mm (7/8 in.)) as shown for adding mounting adjustment to 264-0252 Pipe As. (2). See Image 1.3.2.

6. Assemble 264-0252 Pipe As. (2) to chassis with six 7X-2563 Bolts (1) and 8T-4123 Washers (10). Position 264-0252 Pipe As. (2) such that when the body is in the down position the 6G-1092 Springs (9) are not fully compressed. Tighten 7X-2563 Bolts (1) to 460 N.m +/- 60 N.m (339 lb-ft +/- 44 lb-ft). See Image 1.3.1.
7. Assemble 281-2260 Tube As. (3) to either 264-0252 Pipe As. (2) or 257-8616 Tube (7) based upon method of disassembly. Tighten four bolts (4) or 4N-9330 Clamp (6) to 100 N.m +/- 20 N.m (74 lb-ft +/- 15 lb-ft). See Image 1.2.1.
8. If cracks are obsevered in the exhaust port area on the front wall of body call Product Support at 217-475-5672.
