The aftercooler cores may not have been mountedcorrectly on certain 773E Off-Highway Trucks. The rubber grommets and mountingwashers may have been installed in a manner that will not allow for differentexpansion rates between the radiator and aftercooler core. The aftercoolercore needs to be inspected to insure that the rubber mounts and washersthat hold the aftercooler core were installed with the washers in the correctlocations. See Illustration 1 in the attached rework procedure for thecorrect and incorrect mounting of the right hand side of the ATAAC core.AFFECTED PRODUCT

REWORK PROCEDURE
Inspect the right hand side mount for the ATAAC.There are six 7X-0590 Washers in the after cooler group. There should betwo on the left hand side and four on the right hand side (two for eachmount). There must be a washer (1) between the mount and the radiator.Only the 773E (BDA) Trucks require inspection. Refer to the following illustrationsfor the improper and proper assembly.

If your machine is assembled improperly, referto the following procedure.
1. Verify that there are two 7X-0590 Washers(1) for each left hand side mount. One washer will be under the head ofthe bolt. One washer will be between the ATAAC core and the radiator.2. Remove the washer (1) from between the ATTACcore and the radiator from each mount. The ATAAC Core should rest againstthe radiator and there should only be one washer (1) in each of the lefthand mount.3. Remove two mounting bolts (2). Loosen twobolts
