Remove the rear part of the headliner and disconnectthe dome lamp and the speakers. Refer to Illustration 1.
Remove the 2248448 Rod Assembly - Left Hand andthe 2248449 Rod Assembly - Right Hand (even if only one failed), and replacewith new rod assemblies of the same part number.
Install back the rear part of the headliner.
