6V2010 Polishing Stone is now available. This is a fine grade natural "Arkansas" polishing stone. It is used to remove scratches or burrs (sharp edges) from parts with a smooth surface. The new polishing stone works better than emery polishing paper for removal of larger scratches or burrs.
Some examples for typical use are: ... Removal of burrs from transmission clutch plates.... Removal of burrs on the head assembly of a piston pump or motor.... Removal of burrs from engine valve stems.... Removal of sharp edges from small scratches on crankshaft journals.... Removal of burrs from the end cover on lift truck hydrostatic transmissions.
The polishing stone must be used with a lightweight oil.
