Power GenerationC13GENSET (S/N: CE31-UP; NH31-UP; DH41-UP)Generator SetC15 GEN SET (S/N: CE51-UP; LNA1-UP; LXJ1-UP)C18 GEN SET (S/N: LNB1-UP; LXK1-UP)C9 GEN SET (S/N: LN91-UP; LX91-UP)These engines were experiencing a high battery voltage alarms and shutdown problems that was due to incorrect set points of the Electronic Modular Control Panel (EMCP) flash file. This issue has been resolved at the factory level. If issues are experienced in the field, the following fix can be applied using Cat® Electronic Technician (ET):
Change High Battery Voltage Alarm to 31.8 vdc
Change High Battery Voltage Shutdown to 32 vdcEnsuring that these parameters are programmed per the instructions above will alleviate these high battery voltage alarms and shutdowns.
