The components must be free of the following substances: oil, fuel, water, gasket adhesive, assembly compounds and any other foreign material.To seal the joint between the flywheel housing and the cylinder block, apply a 6 mm (0.250 inch) of 4C-5300 Gasket Sealant or 185-3984 Gasket Sealant to the mating surface of the flywheel housing.During assembly, use the hard washers that are listed in Table 2.
