These changes include a new piston/connecting rod group, a new cylinder head gasket, new fuel injection nozzles and other fuel system parts on some engines. In addition, the full load rpm of the 157 kw (210 hp) engine was reduced from 2800 rpm to 2600 rpm. The chart lists the changes for each engine rating. The changes were made to meet the emission requirements for 1986. The turbocharged engines did not change.
