Circuit Breaker Reset - Push the button in to reset the circuit breakers. If working properly, the button will stay depressed. If the button does not stay in, or comes out shortly after being reset, have appropriate electrical circuit checked.The following circuit breakers are located in the fuse panel at the rear, right corner of the cab. The function of the 24/12 V converter is to reduce voltage going to the cigar lighter and the radio. The Main, Alternator, Engine Control Module (ECM) and Key circuit breakers are located in the cab base compartment. Blower (1) - 15 amps. 24/12 V Converter (2) - 15 amps. Alternator (3) - 105 amps. Inspect/Replace
Inspect the front windshield wiper blade. Replace if the blade is worn or damaged, or if streaking occurs.Fill Washer Bottle
When operating in freezing temperatures, use Caterpillar nonfreezing window washer solvent or equivalent. System damage can result from freezing.
The windshield washer fluid bottle is located in the cab sub-structure.Bucket Tips, Edge Covers and Side Bar Protectors
Replace if Damaged
Personal injury or death can result from bucket falling.Block the bucket before changing bucket tips, edge covers or side bar protectors.

Inspect Used Oil Filter for Debris
Element with debrisUse a 4C5084 Filter Cutter (formerly 6V7905) to cut the filter element open. Spread pleats apart and inspect the element for metal and other debris. An excessive aamount of debris in the filter element can indicate a possible failure.Use a magnet to differentiate between ferrous and nonferrous metals
