Before any air lines are disconnected, be sure the system pressure is zero.
Third Valve Option1. Disconnect air hose (3) from the elbow.2. Loosen the nuts, and remove handles (1) from the levers.3. Remove five allen screws (4), and remove cover (2). 4. Remove clip assembly (5) that holds the wiring harness assembly connectors together. Separate connector (6) that holds the wiring harness assemblies together. 5. On machines equipped with a lever lock group, remove two bolts (9), and remove lever lock group (7).6. Remove bracket (8) from the lever lock group. 7. Remove setscrew (13) and the spring and ball for the lock group detent.8. Remove bolt (14), and separate shaft assembly (11) from block (10), pin assemblies (12) and the spacer.
Third Valve Option9. Remove the bolts and nuts, and disconnect rod ends (16) from the levers.10. Remove bolt (15), and slide shaft assembly (17) from the bracket assembly. Remove the washers, spacers, bearings and levers as the shaft is removed.11. If necessary, remove third valve lever lock (18) from the bracket assembly. 12. Remove two bearings (19) from each of the levers. 13. Remove four bolts (20), and remove bracket assembly (21) from the machine. 14. Remove setscrew (24), and remove the shaft from the bracket assembly. Remove the washers, levers (23), spacer (22) and the bearings as the shaft is removed. 15. Remove two bearings (26) from each lever.16. Remove the locknut, and remove roller (25) from each lever.Install Hydraulic Control Group
1. Use tooling (A), and install two bearings (2) in levers (3). Install the bearings in each side of the levers until they are flush with the outside surface.2. Put roller (1) in position in each lever, and install the locknut that holds them in place. Tighten the locknut to a torque of 9 3 N m (80 27 lb.in.). 3. Put washers (6), levers (3), bearings (4) and spacer (5) in position in the bracket assembly as shaft (8) is installed.4. Install shaft (8) until groove (7) on the shaft is aligned with setscrew (9). Tighten setscrew (9) to hold the shaft in position. 5. Put bracket assembly (11) in position on the machine, and install four bolts (10) that hold it in place. 6. Use tooling (A), and install two bearings (12) in each lever (13) and (14). Install the bearings in each side of the levers until they are flush with the outside surface. 7. Put washers (15), levers (13) and (14), bearings (16) and (18) and spacers (17) and (19) in position in bracket assembly (11) as shaft assembly (22) is installed.8. Put shaft assembly (22) in position, and install bolt (20) that holds it in place. If the rods or rod ends (21) were removed, install the rods with the short threads up. Install rod ends (21), and tighten the locknuts to a torque of 14 4 N m (125 35 lb.in.).9. Put rod ends (21) in position on the levers, and install the bolt and
