4. Install transmission oil filter bracket (5) on the torque converter housing. Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to four bolts (6) and tighten them to a torque of 47 9 N m (35 lb ft).End by:a. Install implement pump. *b. Install engine and torque converter arrangement in the machine.*Refer to R1700 Series II L.H.D. Start by:a. Remove torque converter updrive transfer gearbox.b. Remove torque converter outlet relief valve.c. Remove transmission oil pump. 1. Using a suitable lifting device, position the torque converter updrive transfer gearbox on wood blocks in a horizontal position as shown. The weight of the torque converter updrive transfer gearbox is approximately 630 kg (1389 lb). 2. Remove two bolts (2) and the washers that hold adapter (1) to the torque converter updrive gearbox. Remove adapter (1). 3. Remove O-ring seal (4) from adapter (1). Make sure orifice (3) is clean and free of foreign material. 4. Remove elbow (5) from the torque converter updrive gearbox. 5. Remove plug (6) from the torque converter updrive gearbox. 6. Remove plug (7) from retainer (9). Remove the O-ring seal from plug (7).7. Remove six bolts (8) and the washers that fasten retainer (9) to the torque converter updrive gearbox. Remove retainer (9). 8. Remove bearing cup (10) and O-ring seals (12) from retainer (9). Make sure orifice plug (11) is clean and free of foreign material. 9. Remove eight bolts (14) and the washers that hold retainer (15) to the torque converter updrive gearbox. Remove retainer (15).10. Remove plug (13) from the torque converter torque converter updrive gearbox if necessary. 11. Remove bolt (17) and retainer (16) from the updrive output shaft. 12. Remove O-ring seal (18) and yoke (19) from the updrive output shaft. 13. Remove six bolts (21) and the washers that hold retainer (20) to the torque converter updrive gearbox. Remove retainer (20) and the shim pack. 14. Remove bearing cup (22) and O-ring seals (24) from retainer (20). Make sure orifice plug (23) is clean and free of foreign material. 15. Remove spacer (25) from the updrive output shaft. 16. Remove plug (26) from retainer (27). Remove the O-ring seal from the plug.17. Remove six bolts (28) and the washers that hold retainer (27) to the torque converter updrive gearbox. Remove retainer (27) and the shim pack. 18. Remove bearing cup (29) and O-ring seals (31) from retainer (27). Make sure orifice plug (30) is clean and free of foreign material. 19. Remove retaining ring (32) from
