A 5B-4274 Bolt 2 Start By:
Remove the governor or the governor actuator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Governor - Remove" or Disassembly and Assembly, "Governor Actuator - Remove and Install".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove the bolts that hold housing (2) in place on housing (1). Remove housing (2) and the shims.

Attach a suitable lifting device to housing (1). The weight of housing (1) is approximately 28 kg (62 lb). Remove the bolts that hold housing (1) to the rear housing. Install Tooling (A) in housing (1). Tighten Tooling (A) evenly and separate housing (1) from the rear housing. Remove housing (1).
Remove the O-ring seal from housing (1).

Remove gear (3) from adapter (4).
Attach a suitable lifting device to adapter (4). The weight of adapter (4) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb). Remove the bolts and adapter (4) from the camshaft drive gear.
