1. Remove two tie straps (1).2. Disconnect wire harness (2) at the electrical connection.3. Remove speed sensor (3) and the O-ring seal from the flywheel housing. The following steps are for the installation of the speed sensor (engine). 4. Lubricate bore lightly with glycerin.5. Check the O-ring seal for wear or damage and replace if necessary. Install the O-ring seal on speed sensor (3).6. Fully extend the slip head of speed sensor (3) prior to installation.7. Install speed sensor (3) and the O-ring seal to the flywheel housing. Tighten speed sensor (3) to a torque of 40 5 N m (29 4 lb ft).8. Connect wiring harness (2) at the electrical connection.9. Install two new tie straps (1).
