Position the sensor (transducer) and tee connector as shown. (1) Sensor (transducer). (A) Sensor sleeve containing three wires which connect to the control assembly. (B) Sensor head. (2) Tee.It is also suggested to remind operators that the appropriate Operation & Maintenance Manual for each machine recommends the air system moisture be drained on a daily basis. This will reduce the chance of this failure mode from occurring.
Procedure To Correctly Position Air Pressure Sensor (Transducer)
1. Remove the operator seat, heater fan motors, and seat base to access the opening in the center platform.2. Loosen the tube fittings on either side of the tee connector. Rotate the tee until the tee points upward, and the sensor head points downward. Tighten the fittings. Remove the sensor head and blow out any loose rust, corrosion, and/or water. Install the sensor head back on the tee.3. Install the seat base, heater fan motors, and seat.
