A new feature has been added so that the user can access overspeed verify through the Marine Power Display (MPD). Refer to Special Instruction, REHS3263-00, "Overspeed Verification of the Marine Power Display (MPD)" for the setting and testing procedure.Note: The Engine Instrument Panel also includes an independent overspeed device that serves as a redundant electronic overspeed protection system. Refer to Special Instruction, REHS3249-00, "Set and Test the Overspeed Verification Switch". However, the independent overspeed device cannot be checked using the overspeed verify function through the MPD panel. Note: Installation of the new marine software is not a warrantable repair.
