All 3116 EnginesDescription of Change: A new oil cooler gasket with a rubber bead on one side is used on all 3116 Engines. The former gasket had rubber beads on both sides which could cut through the face material resulting in a loss of bolt torque and subsequent oil leaks.Adaptable To: The part number for the 4W2913 Engine Oil Cooler Group has not changed. The new 7E9817 Gasket (see illustration) replaces the former 7C1161 Gasket which has been canceled. This change is adaptable to all earlier 3116 Engines. The oil cooler bolt torque and assembly procedure has not changed.
