1. Enlarge the ten existing bolt holes in rod assembly (4) to 11.0 mm (.43 in) diameter and 47.5 mm (1.87 in) deep.2. Countersink the holes to 13.8 mm (.54 in) diameter and 15.5 mm (.61 in) deep.3. Tap the holes using a 1/2"-13 THD tap, 37.6 mm (1.48 in) deep.4. Enlarge the ten existing holes in piston (3) to 13.8 mm (.54 in) diameter.5. Lightly deburr the edges of the holes in piston (3) and rod assembly (4). Be sure to clean all debris and chips from the parts.6. Assemble the piston (3) to the rod assembly (4) using ten 5J5793 Bolts (1) and ten 3V3306 Washers (2). Tighten the bolts to 135 20 N m (99 15 lb ft).
