Note: Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or damage. Replace the components, if necessary. Lubricate O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Align the oil passages in the bushing with the port in the link. Failure to align the oil passage with the port will result in damage to the machine components.
Lower the temperature of bushing (13) to -40 °C (-40 °F). Thoroughly clean the bore of the link. Install Tooling (A). Install bushing (13) (not shown) into the link.
Repeat Step 1 for the remaining bushing.
Position link and bearing assembly (1) for installation. The weight of the link and bearing assembly is 559 kg (1230 lb).

Place a suitable lifting sling around pin assembly (10). Attach the end of the suitable lifting sling to a hoist. Install pin assembly (10). The weight of the pin assembly is 74 kg (162 lb).

Install O-ring seal (12) on pin assembly (10) .

Install bolt (11), the washer, and the spacer.

Install plate (9). Install three bolts (8) and the washers on pin assembly (10) .

Position link and bearing assembly (2), as shown. Position a suitable lifting sling around pin assembly (7). Attach the end of the suitable lifting sling to a hoist. Install pin assembly (7). The weight of the pin assembly is 73 kg (160 lb).

Install plate (5) and O-ring seal (6) (not shown) on the pin assembly. Install three bolts (4) and the washers that hold plate (5) to the pin assembly.

Remove O-ring plug (14) and the O-ring seal from link and bearing assembly (2) .
Add 250 cc (15.3 in3) of 2P-9863 Lubricant to the pin assembly. Use Tooling (B) in order to check the air void after adding the lubricant. Use the 30 cc (1.8 in3) calibration tube that is included with the tooling in order to calibrate Tooling (B). The air void must be between 25 kPa (3.5 psi) and the measurement that was obtained with the 30 cc (1.8 in3) calibration tube. Add or subtract lubricant in order to achieve the correct pressure reading from Tooling (B) .
After the air void is correct and the correct amount of 2P-9863 Lubricant has been added, install O-ring plug (14) and the O-ring seal.
Repeat Step 11 through Step 13 for the remaining pin assembly.
If necessary, repeat the procedure for the remaining link and bearing assembly.End By:
Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
Separate the frame lock link. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Frame Lock Link- Separate and Connect".
