Install bearing (42) and the shims.
Install bearings (40) and spacers (41) onto each side of barrel (43).
Install two bolts (39) into each side of the barrel.

Install O-ring seals (37) and (38) onto plug (36) and cover (35).

Install plug (36).

Install cover (35) and three bolts (34). Tighten bolts (34) to a torque of 8.5 1 N m (7 1 lb ft).

Install spring (31) and piston (32). Install piston (33).
Install gasket (28), coupler (29), and plate (30).

Install spring (25) and bearing cup (4).
Install rods (26) and (27). Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of the rods and tighten the rods to a torque of 79 4 N m (58 3 lb ft).

Install head assembly (23) and six bolts (22).
Illustration 15 g00622498Note: Spool (15) has five grooves. Refer to the distance that was obtained during the disassembly for the installation of setscrew (21).
Install O-ring (19), spring guide (18), spring (17), spring guide (16), and spool (15) into valve assembly (3).
Install locknut (20). Tighten locknut (20) to a torque of 17 3 N m (13 3 lb ft). Install setscrew (21).

Install O-ring (11), spring guide (10), spring (9), spring stop pin (8), spring guide (7), and spool (6) into valve assembly (3).
Install locknut (12). Tighten locknut (12) to a torque of 17 3 N m (13 3 lb ft). Install setscrew (13).
Install plug (14). Tighten plug (14) to a torque of 102 5 N m (75 4 lb ft).

Install three seals (4) and plug (5). Tighten plug (5) to a torque of 79 4 N m (58 3 lb ft).

Install four bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 34 3 N m (25 2 lb ft).
Install plug (1). Tighten plug (1) to a torque of 13 .5 N m (10 1 lb ft).

Use a dial indicator to check the axial shaft end play. Position the indicator on the end of the shaft and pull the shaft. The correct axial end play is 0.01 to 0.10 mm (0.0004 to 0.004 inch). End By:
