Installation Procedure

Position the fan guard (24), as shown. Install piston motor (23) to fan guard (24) and install bolts (25). Connect hose assembly (22).

Install pulley (21). Install center bolt (20). Bolt (20) should be tightened to a torque of 200 30 N m (148 22 lb ft). Install fan shroud (19). Install bolts (18).

Install fan (17) and install bolts (16).

Attach a suitable lifting device to the fan and piston motor (14), as shown. The weight of the fan and the piston motor is approximately 102 kg (225 lb). Install the fan and the piston motor. Install bolts (15) to each side.

Install grommet (12) to aftercooler (13).

Install expansion tank (7) and install bolts (11). Connect hose (9) to expansion tank (7). Tighten clamp (10).

Install bolts (8). Connect hose (6) to expansion tank (7).

Place makeup valve assembly (4) into position. Install bolt (5).

Connect hose assembly (1). Install clip (2) and bolt (3). End By:
Install the radiator and fan group. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator and Fan Group (Includes Coolers) - Install".
