When removing a major component or attachment, ensure that it is properly blocked or secured before removing mounting hardware. An assembly that is disconnected without proper blocking may shift or fall, resulting in serious injury or death of personnel or machine damage.
Personal injury or death can result from improper maintenance procedures. To avoid injury or death, follow the procedures exactly as stated below.

Remove the 415-3823 Panel by removing three rear bolts (1), three rear washers (2), three front bolts (3), and three front washers (4).

Inspect bolts (5) that mount the 327-6240 Bracket As to the engine for proper torque. Torque the bolts to 15 3 N m (11 2 lb ft) if loose.
Inspect bolts (6) on the 6D-4244 Clip. Torque the bolts to 30 7 N m (22 5 lb ft) if loose.
Inspect bolts (7) that mounts the 433-4239 Bracket As. Torque the bolts to 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft) if loose.

(8) 8T-4195 Bolt
Inspect bolt (8) that mounts the 8T-1889 Clip and 8T-1890 Clip. Torque the bolt to 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft) if loose.Note: When torquing the bolt, ensure that the battery cable and HVAC lines are not contacting surrounding components.

Reinstall the 415-3823 Panel by tightening three rear bolts (1), three rear washers (2), three front bolts (3), and three front washers (4) to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7lb ft).
