Removal Procedure
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Remove guard assembly (1) .

Disconnect belt (4). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".
Disconnect harness assemblies (2) and (3) .

Remove spacers (7) and (9). Remove bolts (6) and (8), and remove alternator (5) .Installation Procedure

Position alternator (5) and bolt (8). Install bolt (6). Install spacer (7). Install spacer (9) and tighten bolt (8) .

Connect harness assemblies (2) and (3). Tighten harness assembly (3) to a torque of 18 2 N m (13 2 lb ft).
Connect belt (4). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Inspect/Adjust/Replace".

Install guard assembly (1) .
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
