Reports have been received regarding the loosening of the fuel return hose or the separation of the fuel return hose from the fitting that is located on the bottom of the fuel tank on certain excavators that are listed.Problem
Incorrect torque of the hose clamp that secures the fuel return hose to the fitting that is located on the bottom of the fuel tank may allow the fuel return hose to become loose resulting in a fuel leak. If the fuel return hose separates from the fitting, spillage of fuel is significant, especially when the separation is unnoticed for a period of time.Solution
