If necessary, loosen bleed screw (2) to release the fluid in the brake caliper.2. Loosen bolts (1) that hold pins (3) in position in the brake calipers. Pull pin (3) from the caliper until the brake carrier (lining) can be removed. 3. Remove brake carrier (lining) (4) from each side of brake disc (5).Install Brake Carriers (Linings)
1. Push the brake pistons further back into the brake caliper to obtain the needed clearance to install new brake linings. 2. Put brake carrier (lining) (1) in position on the lower pins in the brake caliper.3. Lubricate the seals on pins (2). Push pins (2) in position in the caliper to hold the brake carriers (linings) in position. 4. Check the clearance between pins (4) on each end of the caliper and brake disc (6) with a thickness gauge (5). The clearance between pin (4) and brake disc (6) must not be less than 0.25 mm (.010 in.) and not more than 3.00 mm (.118 in.). Move pins (4) in or out to get the correct amount of clearance.5. Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 45 7 N m (33 5 lb.ft.).6. Remove (bleed) the air from the brake system. See Testing And Adjusting.END BY:a. install tires and rims (front or rear)
