Release all pressure in the hydraulic system prior to disconnecting any hydraulic lines or removing any loader linkage pins. If the hydraulic oil pressure is not released completely, oil can spray out of the oil lines under high pressure. Also, there will be binding of the loader linkage pins in their bores. After the removal of any pins, the loader linkage can separate suddenly. Failure to release system pressure completely can cause personal injury.
1. Disconnect the attachment tool from the coupler assembly.2. Lower the lift arms to the ground and be sure all the hydraulic pressure is released. Typical Example3. Fasten a nylon strap and a hoist to the tilt cylinder, or put wood blocks in position between the tilt cylinder and the lift arms to prevent the tilt cylinder from moving after pin (1) is removed.4. Remove two wire clips (7) from the inner lever assembly (right side only).5. Note the position of washers (4) for assembly.6. Remove the two bolts, washers and plates (8) from the top two pins.7. Remove inner lever assembly (6) from the machine.8. Remove two inner washers (4). The following steps are for installation of the tilt lever assemblies (rear).9. Be sure all pins slide freely in their bores before assembly.10. Lubricate all pins, pin bores and seals with 5P0960 Multipurpose Grease before assembly.11. Install the tilt lever assemblies (2) and (6) in the reverse order of removal.12. Be sure washers (4) are installed in their original positions.13. If any loader linkage parts were replaced with new ones, see Implement Control Group in Specifications for the correct amount of washers (4).
