Loading The Machine Onto A Trailer
The PR-275-RT can be transported as an 8-foot load by removing the steps, the right side elevation sensor and support, and the right side reference assembly. DO NOT DISCONNECT THE SENSOR HYDRAULIC HOSES FOR TRANSPORTING OF THE MACHINE.1. Remove the right side elevation sensor and crank and secure them to the machine. The left side elevation sensor will swing inside shipping width on the swivel mount.2. Remove the stringlines and right side wheeled reference assembly.3. Chain up the stringline averaging ski assemblies and secure them inside the shipping width.4. Drive the machine onto the trailer. Keep the mainframe as low as possible so that the center of gravity is low, but be careful not to drag the cutter or moldboard at the junction of the trailer and loading ramp.5. Adjust the mainframe so it is level and the cutter is touching the trailer deck.6. Block the wheels and shut the engine down.7. Tie the machine down.Unloading The Machine From A Trailer
1. Remove the tie-downs.2. Check the machine visually for any shipping damage.3. Check the engine oil level, engine coolant level, and hydraulic oil level. Add oil or coolant as necessary.4. Start the engine and remove the wheel blocks.5. Drive the machine off the trailer. Keep the mainframe as low as possible so that the center of gravity is low, but be careful not to drag the cutter or moldboard at the junction of the trailer and loading ramp.6. Install the elevation sensors, supports and references, as required.
