1 1 6Y-0859 Duo-Cone Seal Gp The rubber toric seals and all the contacting surfaces must be clean and dry at assembly. Before assembly, apply a thin film of molykote paste to the contacting surfaces of the metal seal rings. The metal seal rings must be assembled square. The rubber toric seals should not bulge and the rubber toric seals should not twist. Refer to , Special Instruction, SEHS8364, "Assembly and Installation of Conventional Duo-Cone Seals".
2 1 191-4923 Spindle Ensure that there is metal to metal contact between the spindle (2) and the retainer (3) before the bolts (4) are tightened.

4 9 8C-8729 Bolt Torque to 120 20 N m (89 15 lb ft).
5 1 6V-0439 Magnetic Plug Torque to 105 10 N m (77 7 lb ft).
- - - Apply SAE 30W lubricant on the threads of the sprocket bolts.
First, tighten the sprocket bolts to 175 40 N m (129 30 lb ft).
Then, tighten the sprocket bolts by an additional 1/3 turn.
Minimum torque after the additional 1/3 turn 380 N m (280 lb ft).
