Test for Boom Raise Cylinder
Start the machine.
Lower the stabilizers to the ground (If equipped).Note: Do not raise the machine on the stabilizers.

At a horizontal position for the boom, telescope the boom out fully.

(A) 40° to 45° (B) extension for the boom raise cylinder
Slowly raise the boom to angle (A) and stop.
Switch off the machine.
Measure extension of the boom raise cylinder (B) . This will be your zero reading on your data sheet.Telescopic Cylinder Test
Start the machine.
Lower the stabilizers to the ground (If equipped).Note: Do not raise the machine on the stabilizers.

At a horizontal position for the boom, telescope the boom out to about 1.25 m (4 ft). Retract the boom about 0.25 m (0.8 ft) and stop.

Measure boom extension of section 2 (C) . This will be your zero reading on your data sheet.

Slowly raise the boom to the full angle.
Switch off the machine.
Measure the boom extension at the various times on the data sheet. Lower the boom and raise to full height between measurements.Tilt Cylinder Test
Note: The machine must be equipped with a fork carriage.
Start the machine.
Lower the stabilizers to the ground (If equipped).Note: Do not raise the machine on the stabilizers.
Raise the boom so that the fork carriage is just below your height.
Tilt the forks at least 10°. Then, slowly dump the forks until the forks are at a 0° angle and stop.
Switch off the machine.
Measure the angle at the various times on the data sheet.Test for the Stabilizer Cylinder (If equipped)
Note: The machine must be equipped with a fork carriage.
Start the machine.

Lower both stabilizers fully so that the front axle is completely off the ground.
Keep the fork carriage about 300 mm (11.8 inch) from the ground. In a slow manner, telescope the boom out fully. Do not allow the forks to rest on the ground.

Turn off the machine and measure the extension of both stabilizer cylinders.
Measure the extensions at the various times on the data sheet.Data Sheet
