Remove the radiator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator - Remove" for the machine that is being serviced.Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Install Tooling (A) on top radiator tank (1). Attach a suitable lifting sling and a hoist to Tooling (A) .
Remove bolts (2) and the washers. Remove top radiator tank (1). The weight of the top radiator tank is 39 kg (86 lb).

Remove seals (3) from the bottom side of top radiator tank (1) .

During the removal of the radiator core assemblies, do not bend any of the cooling fins or damage any of the surrounding radiator core assemblies.
Remove bolts (6) and the washers. Remove strap assemblies (5) .
Carefully remove radiator core assembly (4) from the bottom radiator tank.

Remove seal (7) from the bottom radiator tank.
Repeat this procedure for the additional core assemblies.
