Install plate (23) . Apply Tooling (M) onto bolt (22) . Install bolt (22) .Note: The torque that is required to tighten bolt (22) must not turn end (24) or seal damage can occur.

Install ball (21) . Use a suitable lifting device in order to install piston (18) onto rod (20) . The weight of piston (18) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Install bolts (19) .

Install wear ring (17) .Note: Lubricate the wear ring with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Use Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device in order to position rod assembly (15) . The weight of rod assembly (15) is approximately 590 kg (1300 lb).
Remove Tooling (C) .

Use Tooling (H) in order to press rod assembly (15) into the housing.

Install backup ring (13) and O-ring seal (12) onto head (10) .

Apply Tooling (K) onto the contact surface of head (10) . Use Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device in order to install head (10) . The weight of head (10) is approximately 113 kg (250 lb).
Install bolts (11) . The static inspection torque for bolts (11) must be 500 N m (369 lb ft).
