Assembly of the Counterweight Frame

Start two pins (1) to counterweight frame (10). Use a hoist to move the counterweight frame to the case. Align the pin bores and assemble the pins (1) through the bores. Use twelve spacers (5) .

Align the flanges on the pins into the retaining plates on the inside of counterweight frame (10). Secure each pin with one plate (2) and two bolts (15). Tighten bolts (15) to a torque of 370 50 N m (270 35 N m).Reassembly of the Transmission Guard

Align the transmission guard to the back of the case. Tighten twelve bolts to a torque of 900 100 N m (660 75 lb ft).Assembly of the Links

Raise the counterweight frame (10) to a level position and support with stands.

Install one link (13) to each side of the case. Use two pins (7), two bolts (17), two locknuts (14), two spacers (3) and two spacers (9). Tighten to a torque of 620 80 N m (450 60 lb ft).

Connect links (13) to the counterweight frame (10). Use two pins (4) and two plates (8).

Install eight counterweights (11) to the counterweight frame. Use sixteen bolts (18) and sixteen washers (20) for alignment. Tighten bolts to a torque of 620 80 N m (450 60 lb ft). Assemble eight bolts (19) and eight plates (6) on the front of the frame to the counterweights. Tighten to a torque of 500 65 N m (370 50 lb ft).

Install plates (12) to counterweight frame (10). Use four bolts (16) and four washers (20). Tighten bolts to a torque of 620 80 N m (450 50 lb ft).After assembly is complete, prepare the machine for use. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual.
