The harness 70-pin connectors can be distinguished by looking at the VIMS Main Label or VIMS Application Labels.
The Ethernet connector is labeled RJ45 Ethernet Cable.
The Cat® ET Service Port connector is labeled as Service Port
The Key Switch connector is labeled Key Switch
The Main power Connector is labeled Main Input Power.

VIMS 444-9738 Wiring Harness VIMS Main connector
The VIMS Main connector connects to theVIMS Main ECM. Contains the Ethernet port. Connect the VIMS Main connector to the VIMS Main ECM.

VIMS Main Connector VIMS Application connector
The VIMS Application connector connects to the VIMS Application ECM. Connect the VIMS Application connector to the VIMS Application ECM.

VIMS Application Connector Ethernet cable
Connects the computer to the VIMS Main ECM with the use of VIMSpc. Connect the Harness Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port in the back of the PC.

Ethernet cableService Port
The service port connects both J1939 and CDL data links to the computer via Cat® ET or WinFlash. Connect the Harness Service Port connector to the Communications adapter 3 and plug into the USB port on the PC.

Service port connector Power Connector
Connects to the Power supply to receive power to the Harness.Power input
The system requires a power supply that provides between 9VDC and 32VDC for both ECMs. Connect the Harnesses power connecter to a power supply. Connect pin one to power and pin two to ground of the power supply. Plug the power supply into an outlet.Switch
The switch replicates the ignition switch (key switch) function. Flip the switch to the on position and start the flashing procedure.
