Connect cable assembly (5) to the communication radio group "PL641" (E).

Route cable assembly (5) along the back of the cab and through the grommet located in the floor of the cab at Area (F).Note: Use 7K-1181 Cable Strap as needed.

Remove and retain guards (G) and the associated mounting hardware.

Route cable assembly (5) along the existing harness assembly under the left-hand catwalk. Continue through the existing grommet and up the handrail assembly toward the mirror.Note: Use 7K-1181 Cable Strap as needed.

Secure plate (6) to the handrail assembly by using two U-bolts (7), four washers (8), and two nuts (9).

Secure antenna assembly (10) to plate (6).
Connect cable assembly (5) to antenna assembly (10).Note: Use 7K-1181 Cable Strap as needed.
Reconnect the battery at the master disconnect switch.

Connect Cat ET Winflash to the machine using the Ethernet connection.
Load the PL641 flash file.

Connect through the ECM finder and load the PL641 config file.

Connect ET using a Comm Adapter, access Winflash, and load the brake, chassis, VIMS main, VIMS app, and advisor flash files.
Connect the VIMS cable and load the VIMS main and VIMS app configuration files.
Cycle power.
Connect ET and confirm software and configuration installation.Load the previously saved configurations.
Compare the current configuration to the previously saved product status report. Change those configurations that have not carried over.

Select "VIMS Main Module" and change the "PLM Enable Status (Billing)" to "Disabled".
Select "PL641" and change the Product ID to the machine serial number.
Call Back Office to register the machine and to confirm the connection.
Once the connection is confirmed, take another Product Status Report.
Reinstall the panels that were removed from inside the cab.
Reinstall the panels that were removed from outside the cab.
