JOINT 8U9472 - Caterpillar

Assemble 270-3549 Control Valve Gp (APRON FOLD) (12), using Illustration 7 as a reference. Making sure that all fittings are properly oriented and properly torqued.

Mount 270-3549 Control Valve Gp (APRON FOLD) (12) to support (C) inside the right side door. Use one 153-3061 Bolt (43), one 7X-2540 Bolt (56), four 8T-4224 Hard Washers (62), and two 5C-7261 Nuts (50) .
Attach 154-4147 Hose As (7) to 148-8378 Elbow As (41) in port "P" of the control valve and to port "P" of the slope control valve.
Attach 4E-6864 Hose As (1) to 148-8336 Connector As (37) port "T" of the control valve and to port "T" of the slope control valve.
Attach the right angle fitting of 248-0331 Hose As (11) to 344-1739 Tube As (28). Attach the straight fitting of 248-0331 Hose As (11) to 148-8367 Elbow As (38) in the "C1" port of the control valve. Repeat Step 14 for the second 248-0331 Hose As (11) to 344-1740 Tube As (29) and the "C2" port of the control valve.

Install two 270-3560 Hydraulic Cylinder Groups (13) to frame with two 7J-0252 Pins (3) and secure pin with two 3B-4629 Cotter Pins (48) .
Install 283-5176 Hose As (18) on the right hydraulic cylinder by attaching the straight coupling to 148-8368 Elbow As (39) on the cylinder. Then attach the angled coupling of the hose assembly to 153-6246 Tee As (44) on 345-8507 Tube As (33) .
Repeat Step 16 on the left cylinder.
Install 216-5209 Hose As (10) on right hydraulic cylinders by attaching the straight coupling to 150-3033 Elbow As (42) on the cylinder. Then attach the angled coupling of the hose assembly to 153-6246 Tee As (44) on 345-8506 Tube As (32) .
Repeat Step 18 on the left cylinder.

Install 340-3666 Plate As (22), using an approved lifting device, by lowering into position and inserting 338-1086 Pin As (19) .
Secure the pin assembly using 8T-4196 Bolt (60), 7W-9738 Washer (4), and 106-1242 Spacer (6) .
Manually extend cylinders to extend position.
Raise 340-3666 Plate As (22) to align holes with the rod end of 270-3560 Hydraulic Cylinder Gp (13). Insert the 3D-8032 Pins (49) and secure with 3B-4629 Cotter Pins (48) .

Remove bolts (D) from hopper as shown.

Attach 272-1940 Plate As (15) to the left side (as viewed from front) of the hopper using five 8T-4192 Bolts (58) and five 8T-4223 Hard Washers (61) .
Attach 272-1939 Plate As (14) to the right side (as viewed from front) of hopper using five 8T-4192 Bolts (58) and five 8T-4223 Hard Washers (61) .
Install appropriate flashing.
