Start By:
1. Remove air cleaner.
2. Remove crankcase breather.Removal Procedure

Drain and remove fuel filter canister (6). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel System Secondary Filter - Replace" for the correct procedure. Disconnect harness assemblies (1). Loosen bolt (2). Disconnect tube assemblies (4) and position out of the way. Remove bolts (3) and fuel filter base (5).Installation Procedure
Install fuel filter base (5) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 25 3 N m (221 22 lb in).
Tighten tube assemblies (4) to a torque of 43 3 N m (32 2 lb ft).
Tighten bolt (2) to a torque of 14 2 N m (124 18 lb in).
