Remove two bolts (4) and crossbeam (3).

Remove four bolts (5) and handrail (6).

Remove two bolts, nuts, and washers (7).
Remove four nuts, and washers (9) from pressurizer (8).
Disconnect electrical connector (10).
Remove pressurizer (8) from the operator station.

Remove cover (11).
Remove the four bolts from two lugs (12).
Remove two lugs (12) from the rear frame.
Illustration 6 g01096437Note: The two refrigerant hoses are equipped with air conditioner quick release couplings and recovery of the refrigerant from the system is not required.
Disconnect quick release couplings (13) and (14).
Disconnect electrical connector (15).

Disconnect four hose assemblies (16), (17), (18) and (19) from the transmission.

Disconnect hose assembly (20) from the transmission.
Disconnect electrical connector (21).

Remove hose assembly (22).

Remove two clips (23) and (24).
Remove tube assembly (25).

Disconnect hose assembly (26) from screen housing (27).
Remove four bolts (28) and screen housing (27) from the transfer gear case.
Disconnect hose assembly (29) from the transfer gear case.

Disconnect hose assembly (30) from the drain assembly.

Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to transmission and output transfer gears (31). The weight of transmission and output transfer gears (31) is approximately 1440 kg (3180 lb).

Remove two bolts (34), the two locknuts and two mount assemblies (35) from bracket (32).
Remove four bolts (33) and bracket (32) from the right side of the transfer gear case.
Repeat Step 25 through Step 26 to remove the front transmission support for the left side.

Remove bolt (36), the locknut and mount assembly (38) from bracket (39).
Remove four bolts (37) and bracket (39) from the transmission.
Repeat Step 28 through Step 29 to remove the rear transmission support for the right side.
Remove the transmission and output transfer gears as a unit.
