Introduction
This Special Instruction provides the information that is required to install the 194-3890 Blade Control Gp .Cable Assembly

(1) O ring (2) Hex Nut (3) Lockwasher (4) Clevis (5) Clevis Pin (6) Cotter (7) Cable Clamp (8) Screw (9) Locknuts (10) Cover
Remove the rubber band that holds the cover (10). Discard the rubber band.
Remove the cable attaching kit that is attached to the input lever assembly. Remove the mounting kit for the cover. The cover is attached to the input lever assembly. Open the bags.
When the O ring is provided in the kit, slip the O ring (1) over the cable. Push the O ring past the groove in the end cap.
Install the first hex nut (2) on the cable. Install lockwasher (3) on the cable. Item (2) and item (3) should be installed 1/2 inch from the threaded rod end on the cable.
Install clevis (4) on the cable. Install the second hex nut (2) on the cable. The cable should extend beyond the second hex nut. Tighten the first hex nut (2) .
Install clevis pin (5). Secure item (5) with cotter (6) .
Position O ring (1) on the end of the cable. When the cable is put in position the O ring (1) should be in the groove in the housing.
Install the adapter for cable clamp (7) on cover (10). The dovetail features should be lined up with the parts in item (10). The dovetail features should be in line with the holes in item (10) .
Hold cable clamp (7) when you slide cover (10) in place. Make sure that the dovetail feature in the front of the control is engaged. Make sure that the groove from cable clamp (7) sits over the cable. Slide the screws (8) through the housings. Slide the screws (8) through cable clamp (7). Slide the screws (8) through cover (10) .
Place two locknuts (9) in cover (10). Tighten screws (8) to a torque of 8 N m (70 lb in).Installation
Any of the two mounting holes, or all of the four mounting holes can be used to mount the control. The control should be mounted with the 1/4 inch bolts. Only the shank portion of the mounting bolts can contact the inside diameter of the mounting holes.
The C85 series in line control can be rotated 180° in order to reverse the stroke of the cable. The top two mounting bolts are symmetrical about the center so that the control lever will remain aligned.Changing the Cable Size
The control is designed so that you can use a 1/4-2B cable. The control is designed so that you can use a 5/16-24 rod end for the cable. The proper clevis, the proper O ring, the proper nuts, the proper adapter for the cable and a lockwasher are parts that are required. All of the hardware that is required is packaged in a kit. All of the parts that are required are packaged in a kit.Field Modification
Any modification that is made in the field to the control
