Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Install pressure sensor group (56) in manifold group (54). Tighten pressure sensor group (56) to a torque of 10 2 N m (90 18 lb in).
Install solenoid valve group (57) in manifold group (54). Tighten solenoid valve group (57) to a torque of 105 10 N m (77 7 lb ft).
If required, orient solenoid valve group (57) . Tighten the nut on the rear of the solenoid valve to a torque of 5.4 0.6 N m (48 5.25 lb in).
Install regulator (58) in manifold group (54). Tighten regulator (58) to a torque of 140 14 N m (103 10 lb ft).

Install manifold group (54) from the control cabinet. Install bolts (55).

Install wiring harness assembly (53) in the control cabinet. Connect to the existing connectors and secure the harness with cable straps.

Install diaphragm (52) onto the pump group.

Install pump head (50) and bolts (51) onto the pump group.

Tighten bolts (51) in the sequence shown.

Install valve assembly (48) and valve assembly (49) into diesel exhaust fluid pump group (38).Note: Ensure that the flow indicators on the valve assemblies are pointed in the correct direction.

Install solenoid valve group (41) and solenoid valve group (43) in the manifold group. Tighten solenoid valve groups to a torque of 130 10 N m (96 7 lb ft).
If required, orient solenoid valve groups . Tighten the nut on the rear of the solenoid valve to a torque of 5.4 0.6 N m (48 5.25 lb in).
Install temperature sensor group (45) in the manifold group. Tighten temperature sensor group (45) to a torque of 48 5 N m (35 3.5 lb ft).
Install pressure sensor group (44) in the manifold group. Tighten pressure sensor group (44) to a torque of 20 3 N m (177 26.5 lb in).
Install adapter assembly (42) and adapter assembly (47) in the manifold group .
Install heater assembly (46) in the manifold group.

Connect diesel exhaust fluid pump group (38) to manifold group (39). Install bolts (40).
