When reporting the repair, use "PS40621"as the Part number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered beforefailure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" asthe SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as theWarranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. The information supplied in this serviceletter may not be valid after the termination date of this program. An 81-frequency relay on the power module switchgearmay not operate because of a potential problem with a thumbwheel switch.Due to an assembly error by the manufacturer, position 7 of the thumbwheelswitch may not make proper contact. The trip point adjustment for the relayis accomplished by setting the four switches to the corresponding desiredfrequency.AFFECTED PRODUCT

Prevent the engine from starting and lock outthe equipment before working on or inside the equipment.
Only a qualified electrical service personnelshould service this equipment.
Always use a properly rated voltage-sensingdevice to confirm power is off.
Note: The switchgear will operate withoutthis relay only if the power module is utilized in the standby mode application.
Turn off all supply power.
Locate the type 81 over/under frequency relay(p/n 1316473).
Note: The relay is either in the door of theswitchgear or it is installed in the utility conversion box.
Grasp the handles on the front relay panel andpull out the printed circuit assembly to see the ABB serial number on thebottom side of the printed circuit board.
Verify that the serial number is 9151-9155, 9157-9164,9166-9171,
