Information:

1. Drain the oil from the hydraulic tank. 2. Remove ladder assembly (1) from the hydraulic tank.3. Put the right side platform in the "OPEN" position. 4. Remove bolts (2) that hold the block to the manifold on the back of the hydraulic tank. 5. Put block (3) in position on the steering cylinder as a support for the tube assembly when the tank is removed.6. Disconnect tube assembly (5) from the block. Disconnect wires (8) from the sending unit on the tank.7. Remove the bolts that hold elbow (4) in place.8. Disconnect hoses (6) and tube assemblies (9) and (10).10. Remove the three bolts that hold the steering control valve (7) to the manifold. 11. Put tooling (A) in position and fasten a hoist to the tooling.12. Remove bolts (11) at the top of the tank.13. Remove the bolts that hold the tank to bracket (12).14. Remove the hydraulic tank. The weight of the tank is 158 kg (350 lb.).Install Hydraulic Tank
1. Check the O-ring seal on the tube assembly for wear or damage. If necessary, make a replacement. 2. Fasten tooling (A) to the hydraulic tank as shown. Fasten a hoist to the hydraulic tank. Put hydraulic tank (1) in position on the brackets. Install the bolts that hold it. 3. Install the bolts that hold steering control valve (4) to the manifold.4. Connect hoses (3) and tube assemblies (5) and (6) to the manifold.5. Connect wires (2) to the sending unit on the tank. 6. Install bolts (7) that hold the block in place.7. Remove bolts (8) from on top of the steering cylinder. 8. Connect tube assembly (9) and elbow (10) to the tank.9. Put the right side platform in the "CLOSED" position. 10. Install ladder assembly (11) on the hydraulic tank.11. Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. See LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE.Disassemble Hydraulic Tank
start by:a) remove hydraulic tankb) remove hydraulic oil filters 1. Remove the bolts that hold cover assembly (1) to tank assembly (2).2. Install tooling (A) on the cover assembly. Fasten a hoist to tooling (A).3. Remove the cover assembly. The weight of the cover assembly is 46 kg (103 lb.). 4. Remove four screws (3) and the sight gauge assembly. 5. Remove plate (4), grommet (5), glass (6) and O-ring seals (7) from retainer (8). 6. Remove bolts (10), baffle assembly (9) and the oil filter base. 7. Remove studs (11) and O-ring seals (12) from filter base (13).
Spring (17) is under compression behind cover (15).
8. Remove bolts (14) and cover (15) from the base.9. Remove the O-ring seal from the cover. 10. Remove spring (17) and valve (16) from the base. 11. Remove the bolts and block (18) from the tank assembly.12. Remove the O-ring seal from the block. 13. Remove bolts (19) and tube assembly (20) and the block from the tank. 14. Remove O-ring seals (22) and sending unit (21) from the block. Remove tube assembly (20) from the block. 15. Remove bolts
