Start By:a. remove engine, retarder and torque converter arrangement 1. Remove and mark electrical connections (1) for correct location during assembly.2. Remove bolt (4) at bracket (2).3. Remove bolt (7) at harness clip (6). Set electrical harness (8) aside.4. Remove four bolts (3) from two half flanges (5). 5. Remove two bolts (9). Aside bracket assembly (10). 6. Remove eight bolts (11). Remove two tube assemblies (12). 7. Attach tools (A) and hoist to torque converter arrangement (13). 8. Remove eight bolts (17). Remove four half flanges (15).9. Remove two bolts (16) from oil baffle tube (14). 10. Remove three bolts (16). Remove clutch lockup valve (15). 11. Disconnect hose fitting (19) from outlet relief valve (18). Remove three bolts (17). Remove the outlet relief valve. 12. Remove four bolts (22) and two half flanges (21). Attach a hoist and strap to transmission pump (20). The weight of the transmission pump is 39 kg (85 lb).13. Remove four bolts (23). Remove transmission pump (20). 14. Remove nine bolts (24). Remove transmission pump drive housing (25). 15. Remove ten bolts (26). Remove torque converter arrangement (13) with a hoist. The weight of the torque converter arrangement is 563 kg (1250 lb).
